Most single rooms are done in one day. A typical whole floor runs two to three days start to finish, and we work straight through — no crew disappearing to another job mid-install. LVP or laminate, one room: 1 day; hardwood, whole floor: 2–3 days; sanding and refinishing: 3–4 days including cure time; staircase: 1–2 days. Refinishing is the only one that holds you up: the finish needs to cure before furniture goes back. We schedule around that and tell you the exact hours you need to stay off the floor. Most in-stock material installs as soon as the next day.

Far less than you are picturing — and we will not pretend it is zero. Sanding a floor makes dust; the question is where that dust ends up. Our sanders vacuum at the drum, so the dust is captured at the source instead of settling into your cabinets, your vents and your lungs. We seal the work zone with plastic, run floor protection from your entry to the room, cover HVAC returns, and haul away every scrap of the old floor. Crews sweep and vacuum before leaving each day — not just on the last one. What you will notice: a fine film on nearby surfaces that wipes off. What you will not: grit in the air for a month.

A written workmanship warranty on our installation, in writing. If a board lifts, cups, squeaks or separates because of how we installed it, we come back and fix it — no labor charge, no argument about whose fault it is. That is separate from the manufacturer's warranty on the material itself, which covers finish wear and defects and typically runs 15–50 years depending on what you choose. Most floor stores only hand you the second one; the installation is the part their subcontractor walks away from. Both warranties are printed on your quote before you sign anything.
